The Lost Treasure - Ubuntu Calendar Package, NSFW!!

Yep! the package really contains some nude and semi-nude content, but its artistic photography, we don't call it _Porn_. This package is nothing more than a set of wallpapers, but due to controversy it was later removed and since we know that every controversy has a story behind it, this one had its too, a pretty funny one actually .

The package description was something like this:

"...a set of wallpapers and themes that are updated every month. The selection of art photography includes some semi-nude models and artistic portrayals of people from diverse ethnic groups...."

So, after one installed the package, it used to download wallpapers every month containing artistic nudes and semi-nudes. Even though the package was not a default application, but due to such content it was bound to fell into controversies. The best and funniest part was when people started referring Ubuntu as a Porn distribution and came up with names like "LinuXXX" .

The package was later discontinued but is still available in the Ubuntu Hardy Universe and SuperOS repos. Don't try to install it if you are running anything later than Intrepid, dependency issues.

There were total six sets of wallpapers, from October to March . Each set contains two images - one with standard aspect ratio (4:3) and the other widescreen(16:10).

I dont' think the installation is even possible but the wallpapers are available on iArt.
